February Makeup Must Haves

If I was to tell High school me that I would be writing a blog about my favourite makeup she would have spit her capri sun everywhere. But, I have developed, matured and 24 year old me has become addicted to makeup (Louise I have you to blame for my decreasing bank account!)

I have a love for a mixture of both high end and bargain products- it's probably the only Chanel and Dior that I'll ever be able to afford/fully justify. I often turn to my friends to help my makeup knowledge grow!

I will be trying to narrow down my favourites and list my favourite budget besties and high end heroes that I have been using...

High End Hero-

Dior Lip Glow

Everyone knows that winters best friend and every girls worst enemy is a chapped lip. Nothing worse in the cold months than applying your favourite lipstick/gloss and having it ever so attractively flake 😫

Don’t worry though it’s Super Dior to the rescue!!

With their already super popular lip glow in “pink” they have brought out 10 new shades that I am absolutely living for! In a range of matte, glow and holographic they are the perfect chapped lip fighters!

The matte is perfect on its own or to go underneath your matte lipstick. The holographic has a slight shimmer in it and the glow is a super nourishing lip balm. Each balm has a mango base so that surely means it is part of your five a day right?

I purchased raspberry glow and lilac holo and what is truly magnificent about them is that they react to the colour of your lips! So no one will have the same colour as you!

And what’s better than a custom Dior?!

Top tip: Whilst these little beauties come in at £25 a piece it’s best to get them from somewhere you have a loyalty scheme/points card and depending on how much money you have on your card you might end up getting it for free (ish). Boots is always a favourite of mine.

Budget Bestie-

Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define.

Ever have that one friend who finds you the best and cheapest beauty dupes; that one friend who always know where to go for cheap and affordable products? Well for me my friend Libby introduced me to the wonderful world of Makeup Revolution.

This brand baffles me. How can you be that good but that cheap? And where the hell have I been for the past so many years that I never knew it existed. There new products are like gold dust. Their liquid highlighter is a personal favourite of mine (I use it as pre-foundation)

Libby explained to me that this concealer is a very clever, cheap dupe of Tarte Shape Tape (£22) and when we were passing Superdrug she urged me to buy it speaking of its wonder and delight and I foolishly ignored her and said I'd get it another time.

After weeks of Superdrug telling me this concealer was out of stock in my shade, I finally got my mitts on this and I'm just mad I didn't buy it straight away. It is my go-to for sleepless nights, hangovers or just general under eye bags (I've had saggy baggy eyes from the tender age of four)

Top Tip: These little beauties cost only £4! I would recommend getting these from Superdrug. You can get points on your 'health and beauty card' and they normally have a brilliant deal on Makeup Revolution where when you spend £12 on the brand you get a free gift (normally a dazzling eye palette)

If you buy any of these products let me know what you think in the comments below!
